Landon York

Landon York is an advanced practicum student and in his third year at William James College’s Doctor of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) program. Landon holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Professional Psychology from William James College and has previously received his Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychological Science, with a minor in Behavioral Change Health Studies, from the University of Vermont.   

Landon’s past graduate-level practicums include CBTeam – OCD and anxiety specialists and Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital’s Special Needs Inpatient Unit (SNU). During his undergraduate training, Landon provided therapeutic services through Champlain Valley Head Start’s preschool programing. Through these experiences, Landon received supervised training in both evidence-based behavioral therapy (e.g., Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)) and cognitive behavioral therapies (e.g., Cognitive Therapy, ERP, ACT, DBT, SPACE) to address anxiety-related, mood-related, obsessive compulsive-related, trauma and fear-related, substance and addictive related, neurodevelopmental, and impulse and conduct related concerns to clients across the lifespan.   

Landon has a particular interest in working with children, adolescents, and emerging adults with depressive, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive related goals. Through training as an advanced practicum student at The Concord Center, Landon is further developing competencies around DBT, CBT, and ACT theory and practice.
