Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is a mental health condition characterized by excessive and persistent worry about various aspects of ones life, such as work, school, relationships, health, or finances. Individuals with GAD find it difficult to control or mannage their worries, which can interfere with daily functioning. Common symptoms of GAD include restlessness, fatigue, difficulty concentrating or mind going blank, irritability, muscle tention, and difficulty falling or staying asleep. GAD is one of the most prevalent anxiety disorders, with a lifetime prevalence rate of 5.7% among adults.
